Peter lack scores early down under!!!

Austrian Toowoomba racer Peter Lack proved too good in round two of the East Coast Logistics Sprintcar Track Championship at Ausdeck Patios Archerfield Speedway on Saturday night (October 27), leading every circulation in the 30-lap feature race to defeat Allan Woods and Brent Kratzmann. Having finished third in the opening round after leading early, a repeat of such a scenario never looked likely on this occasion as Lack rebuffed every overture from those who dared to venture forth in search of the lead. Opening round winner Lachlan McHugh was the early threat until he found himself losing touch with Lack, enabling Woods to take up the chase. There were a few occasions where Woods looked as though he might surge to the front, but Lack saw off every challenge to take the race and emerge as the only driver to finish on the podium in both completed rounds. McHugh found himself fourth at the chequer, with Luke Oldfield rounding out the first five.
