K2W Precision, Inc. is located in Alton, Iowa, a predominantly Dutch agricultural community. “Keizer,” a Dutch word meaning “Emperor” or “Empire”, was chosen as our product’s name to distinguish its presence among our competitors. We pride ourselves on building an empire through performance and engineering, and backed by service. These focuses have been and will continue to be the backbone of our company. We are the “Keizer” of the custom racing wheel industry.
Our Team
Wade Huisman
Wade began working with wheels in the late 90’s. He has been involved in all aspects of the business, including production, equipment maintenance, assembly, and shipping. Over the past few years, his focus has been on processes, performance, marketing, and expansion. Wade has a background in engineering as well as a business degree. In 2001, he became the lead Sales/Tech Manager at Keizer. He was in charge of everything from marketing to delivery. This experience helped his transition into the GM position in 2003. 10 years later, Wade formed K2W Precision Inc. and acquired the production rights to produce and market the Keizer Wheel product line. He is currently in charge of all aspects of the business, focusing on sales and distributor relations.
Nate DeWeerd
Nate is the leader of our shop at K2W Precision. He has been working in the wheel industry for as long as Wade (his brother in-law), starting as a wheel polisher his freshman year of high school. Nate has college education in both business and machining, and became a K2W Precision partner in 2013. It can be a daunting task to keep up with the needs and desires of our customers, but Nate does a great job at keeping our inventory in stock and our customers happy. With years of internal experience, Nate is involved with every step of the wheel process, from blank to box to customer.
Angie Huisman
As the business began to grow, Angie joined the team to help with bookwork, sponsorship requests, and contingency packages. This was a big transition, as Wade and her have four kids at home. She is responsible for over $100,000 in freebies given away to racers, teams, clubs, and organizations to show our appreciation to customers.
Our Backbone
Without the daily effort put forth from our entire production crew, we would be lost. Because of our great staff, our growth has been able to smoothly progress. This can be credited to the hard work and dedication of every individual who works for K2W Precision. With too many people and skills to list, we want to say a sincere thanks to all of our employees.
