Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, Darrell took a provisional to gain access into the $10,000 to win feature and was an early retiree in the rugged 50-lap race, which relegated him to a twentieth place showing. Following a rain-out at the legendary Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland on Saturday, the quadruple header with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series wrapped up on Sunday, April 23 at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. Darrell finished third in his heat race before running tenth in the $10,000 to win headliner
